About the Course
The SAFE course establishes a solid foundation in personal safety and security for those navigating challenging and complex environments. Based on industry best practices, it equips participants with essential skills and knowledge to remain SAFE while overseas, effectively manage risks, and proactively respond to dangerous situations.
Originally designed to ensure the safety and security of FCDO, the course has empowered thousands since its launch in 2015. Through scenario-based learning, participants learn to avoid and protect themselves against unexpected threats and hazards, sharpening skills vital for minimising travel-related risks. The curriculum includes key skills such as situational awareness, conflict management, highlighting potential threats through a range of situations.
This extensive training programme, accredited by Highfield at Level 3, is regulated by SAFHEE, ensuring it meets educational standards and adheres to best practices.
